Recreation Sport

The Office of Recreational Sports is made up of five components that serve the campus community:

A.     Fitness –
All the cadets & campus community regularly uses fitness gym, and free weights to achieve their fitness goals. There are exercise classes for the students.
B.     Informal Recreation :–
Cadet College Jhang encourages its constituents to engage in sports activities, such as cricket, basketball, soccer or badminton matches.

Sports Tournaments
At Cadet College Jhang tournaments of badminton, tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, athletics, cross country race & table tennis are scheduled at different times in one calendar year. Professional training in these sports is given.
Intramurals–
Large number of students participates in this extracurricular program of traditional and nontraditional activities.

Swimming & Horse Riding

Swimming & horse riding is also available at Cadet College Jhang. Regular competitions in these sports are part of Cadet College Jhang curriculum. Students are also encouraged to take part in them considering their importance regarding the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Outdoor Recreation Programs :–
Cadet College Jhang provides opportunity for the students & the campus community to try their hand at outdoor activities like:

Snow Skiing

Cadet College Jhang is the ONLY school in Pakistan which prepares its students for skiing on its own in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force and prepare its children, girls and ladies staff for National Championship in these three categories to Naltar (above Gilgit) on regular basis.

Paragliding

Cadet College Jhang is in coordination with the only ParaglidingSchool in Pakistan at ChuwaSaiden Shah. Only cadets above the age of 12 participate in this sport.

Out station Visits

Students proceed to different cities for informational, educational and recreational visits. For that, Cadet College Jhang is member of Youth Hostels International which is a subsidiary unit of United Nations.

Walks for Causes

Keeping different causes in mind including environment, pollution, greenery & human rights, different kinds of walks are arranged outside the campus.

Sport club: –
The sports club exists to promote a common interest in a physical activity through competition, instruction, participation, or performance.
It is through these components that we provide meaningful experiences, the opportunity to develop leadership skills, and an appreciation of a well-rounded, healthy, and active lifestyle in all students, faculty, and staff.
